Western
Scrub Jay (two

Western Scrub Jays snatching peanuts placed by tourists near the East
Entrance to Zion
National Park. Jays bury most of their food for hard times.
They
also grab a leaf or some
other kind of marker to place over the spot to help in relocating their
cache. I have a movie
of one carrying an apple over to place on the spot. Pretty cute!
