"Flower Spider"
I just happened to see this spider lurking underneath a sunflower leaf on Antelope Island. This is a typical pose
for this spider. When an insect comes flying or walking by they just snap close those four front legs, trapping the
insect. Flower crab spiders come in a variety of shapes, colors and patterns. © Carol Davis, 8-16-2009
