Immature
Western Black Widow
Latrodectus hesperus
This could be male or female - I don't know

This stunning (no pun intended) Black Widow (male or female?)
was just hanging around in the web
on Antelope Island. Who would ever guess that such a colorful
spider might turn out to be the female
shiny black widow we've all come to despise? It's also possible it
might turn out to be the
"harmless" male spider that no one ever sees because he doesn't look
anything like
the female. Regardless, I love to find these immatures with their
beautiful colors.
