Cydia pomonella
This is the moth that ruins your apples and pears. I was reading that people are
trying "apple socks" that cover the apple and protect it from the worm who attacks
about 3 weeks from blossom drop. Some people swear by them. I don't usually get
that many apples on my tree so I might give it a try. © Carol Davis, 7-17-2008
