Lema daturaphila
There were Sacred Datura plants, the preferred hangout for these colorful beetles, growing (and blooming)
all around the place in Snow Canyon State Park in Southern Utah. One could really be creeped out by all

Southern Utah insects are numerous and it's fun to photograph the host plant as well as the
chewers just to show how much damage can be done by these little creatures (although they're
