Stilt Bug
Neoneides muticus

Having never seen a Stilt Bug before, I was torn between this
being an Assassin Bug or a
Stilt Bug. Bugguide helped me
ID him. Stilt Bugs have a club at the end of the antenna.
I only saw this bug one day in my garden but it was fun finding a new
species.

The Stilt bug Neoneides muticus is omniverous, dining on leaves
and flowers and also on
small insects such as thrips, according to an article I found here
(do a search in the text
for Neoneides muticus).
It seems like they really like the plant common mullein.
