Family Scutelleridae
genus Tetyra
This Shield-backed Bug was just lounging on a bridge--probably over ate at breakfast. It reminded me of a stink bug but it was different than
any I had seen before. Members of the family Scutelleridae are also called "jewel bugs" and some genus are very decorative.
Even this one has some beautiful patterns. It is a "vegeterian".
