Ozophora
This Dirt-colored Seed Bug was on my car and did not take kindly to my subtle
advances. A few clicks of my camera was enough to send this skittish bug
flying. This one has not been narrowed down to species but no doubt it
is destructive since it has the name of "seed bug".
From what I haveread this bug prefers marshy places - which my yard is not. Maybe it's just
looking for a marsh and it may have no trouble finding one since we are about to be flooded
out in Utah because of high snowpack. © Carol Davis 4-1-2011
