Scentless
Plant Bug
Rhopalus tigrinus
As Scentless Plant Bugs go, this one has to be just about the
prettiest there is. It is a European
species that was first introduced in the mid seventies and has decided
to spread across America.
Look for them in your backyard garden as they tend to dine on crucifers
such as cauliflower,
cabbage and broccoli (according to Bugguide.net). This one
was dining out at Brighton, Utah
so it may have a more diverse diet.
