Scentless Plant Bug
Harmostes
The Scentless Plant Bug "Harmostes" is a plant eater and is named after a Spartan city
supervisor (
ref: Spartan article on Minnesota State University site
). As their name implies,
these bugs have no scent glands. This little insect was supervising Red Butte Gardens in
Salt Lake City, Utah. © Carol Davis, 8-5-2008
