Genus acupalpus
This little beetle, I am told, is a Carabid Ground Beetle of the tribe Harpalini and subtribe
Stenolophina. Some Carabids are known to eat other insects and some eat seeds and plants.
I don't know any of the specifics on this one so I'll let it eat anything it wants. It was hanging
