Cockroach
(Nevada)
Luridiblatta trivittata

I found this little insect in some
wetlands around the Las Vegas area and figured that it had
to be a cockroach
of some kind. Bugguide confirmed that belief. ©

It was decided that this was Luridiblatta
tribittata, an non-native species from the
Mediterranean area.
They are quite small and the theory is that they won't
become an inside pest. So
far they have only been
spotted in California and Nevada. ©
