Syrphid Fly
Genus Villa
This fly must have been eating something very yummy because I
was able to get a few
good shots. Most of these flies are very skittish, at least from
my experience. This one was
on Antelope Island. According to Bugguide.net, Syrphid flies in
the genus Villa are very
hard to narrow down to species because of the lack of
