Two different looking aphids in Taylorsville, UT.
There are many different kinds of aphids and its hard to believe they're so plentiful
with all of the insects that dine on them. Thank goodness for the predators or we'd
be overrun with aphids! This photo shows the wing pattern of one species of
aphid. Last August the air was filled with little winged aphids so I got out a sticky
lint brush and waved it in the air to catch this little devil . © Carol Davis, 2005, 2007
