Plateumaris
Beautiful Plateumaris in the bushes along the river below Jordanelle Dam near Heber City, UT. These are skeletonizing
leaf beetles that live off aquatic plants. As I was trying to get more shots of this little guy (or gal) the grass slipped out of
my hand and he went sailing to grasses unknown. Everyone needs a vacation. .. © Carol Davis, 6-15-2008
