Sympetrum corruptum
This flawless little female Variegated Meadowhawk was resting on my fence in Taylorsville, Utah. She let me take quite a few
pictures with a flash before she said "enough!" and left the warmth of the fence. I love to see the wings in such perfect
condition. It's rather late in the season to see any dragonfly so this was quite a treat. © Carol Davis, 10-24-2009
